CHLAMYDIAL INFECTION
The Chalmydia Trachomatis infection is one of the most spread of the STD's. It is caused by a small bacteria, Chlamydiae Trachomatis.

The infection with Chlamydiae Trachomatis is a very serious disease, affecting mainly the women in their 20's and 30's. Also, the pelvic inflammatory disease, which can be caused by Chlamydia, is a leading cause of infertility if left untreated.

Many people with chlamydial infection, however, have few or no symptoms of infection. Once diagnosed with Chlamydial infection, a person can be treated with an antibiotic.

HOW DOES THE CHLAMYDIAL INFECTION MANIFEST?
Chlamydia is known as the "silent epidemic" because three quarters of the women and half of the men with the disease have no symptoms. Nonetheless, the person infected is contagious. Later on this infection manifests itself as:

- vaginal discharge, or discharge from the penis
- burning sensation when urinating
- women may experience lower abdominal pain or pain during intercourse and bleeding between menstrual periods
- men may experience burning and itching around the opening of the penis and/or pain and swelling in the testicles

However, these signs are not relevant. If they are accompanied by pain of the articulations and/or conjunctivitis, the diagnosis is easier.

If the woman does not pay attention to these few signs and she ignores the treatment, the disease will reach the trumps and cause their infection, manifesting through pain in the lower abdomen.

Tantra Magazine HOW DO WE DETECT THE CHLAMYDIAL INFECTION?
- Laboratory analysis of the secretion, in the case of women the vaginal, uterus and urethra
- The detection of the anticorps in the blood; they are formed in order to protect the organism against the aggressor. Consequently, their presence signals an infection.

HOW DO WE TREAT THE CHLAMYDIAL INFECTION?
The treatment requires a cure of antibiotics specially destined for the treatment of this bacteria. Also there has been major progress in the treatment of Chlamydia with antibiotics over the past few years.

As a consequence, the most commonly used treatments are a single dose of azithromycin or a week of doxycycline (twice daily).

However, you must also be aware of the side effects of these treatments, most common of which including diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain, and vomiting.

Our lover should also follow the treatment and we should abstain from sexual relationships while on treatment.
